Peterborough United Foundation continues to make a positive difference locally through its delivery of Premier League Kicks sessions—using football to engage, inspire, and support young people across the city.

Funded by the Premier League, Premier League Kicks provides free, structured evening football activities for young people aged 8–18, particularly those at risk of social exclusion or anti-social behaviour. Delivered at community venues, the sessions offer a safe and inclusive space to play, develop skills, and build confidence.

Qualified coaches lead weekly activities focused not only on football but also on teamwork, leadership, and personal development. Participants can also access mentoring, workshops, and opportunities to represent the Foundation in regional tournaments.

The programme harnesses the power of the club badge to connect with young people and encourage positive life choices.

Through Premier League Kicks, the Foundation continues to strengthen community ties—providing opportunity, guidance, and a pathway for young people to thrive both on and off the pitch.

Peterborough United Foundation currently run sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays at Nene Valley Community Centre and Thursdays at Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech.

During the half term week, we took a team of our Premier League Kicks players to Northampton for a tournament. Our team performed brilliantly and won their group – another great experience for all involved thanks to the Premier League Kicks programme.
