Logan came through the Elite Player Pathway at Peterborough United Foundation and returned for the FEP after a short time away. Two successful years later, he’s preparing to make a move to the USA at the University of Arkansas.

A popular figure from the moment he joined the FEP, Logan captained the Boys A Team in 2024/25 and showed his progression and maturity during his time on the programme. Away from the FEP, he’s developed into a Blackstones FC First Team player and is now preparing to move stateside for the next part of his studies.

He and teammate Tyler Sansom will be joining the University of Arkansas in the Autumn, becoming Rich Mountain Bucks for the next two years of their sporting and academic development.

“I’m really excited to be moving out there; it’s something that’s been on both mine and Tyler’s mind for a while now. For a few months we were a bit 50/50 on whether we wanted to actually commit but as time has got closer the excitement has built up and we’re massively looking forward to getting started and enjoying life in a new area.”

“I think we both have had the idea for over a year or so now, we knew about the possible opportunities ever since we started the scholarship with Peterborough United. We have fully had the idea to go and commit to America for 8-9 months. We both came to the decision to commit to this because of the way that the scholarship works, we want to keep playing every day and improving as footballers as well as getting a degree or an improvement in our education also. It was the only way we could find an environment like the FEP again.” Logan said.

The Posh Football & Education Programme has gone from strength to strength in recent years both on and off the football pitch – more players than ever are now completing A Levels at Nene Park Academy alongside their football, and more avenues are opening up to those who complete two years with us.

Logan feels the FEP has played a key part in his ongoing development:

“The Posh FEP has been crucial for me as a player. I’ve learnt and built on my knowledge tactically no end with the help of the coaches and with the training every single day I’ve built myself up physically more than I could have imagined. As a person I’ve had experiences that will last a lifetime, to name a few: Plymouth (A), the Netherlands tour, mine and Tyler’s first game vs Cambridge when I assisted him for the first goal of the season.”

“I enjoyed every moment and for me it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made joining the programme. As all the coaches said, the time does fly by, and it’s gone as soon as it comes but I don’t remember disliking any part of it. The coaches and the team mates I had made a massive positive impact on my time there.”

“I would tell anyone who is considering the programme to not think twice and just do it. As I said before, it’s genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’ve had the best experiences of my life whilst being on the programme. Some of my best mates come from the Posh FEP and as a player there is nowhere that compares to the level of training and knowledge that you will get at Peterborough United Foundation.” Logan continued.

And the time has almost come to Logan, alongside teammate Tyler, to jet off to start their new journey in Arkansas.

“For me America is about a new experience, I want to meet new people and play football in a new area. However, I also want to try and play a professional level of football there too so I’m hoping that being in America creates new opportunities for me to do that.”

“The ultimate goal in football for me is to play professionally, that’s always been the goal for me since I’ve been young. As I said I’m hoping that America provides new opportunities to do so. Outside of football I aspire to be successful in business or finance, they are two sectors which I find interesting.” Logan said.

We’d like to thank Logan for his commitment to the Posh FEP over the past two years and wishing you the very best of luck as you begin this new adventure!

“To anybody that is thinking about joining the Posh FEP, don’t think and just join. Anybody who has been on the program that I have spoken to has only had great things to say about it and I am the same. The coaching is second to none, the education side is also very high quality. You will find new levels to your game and create memories that will last a lifetime.” – Logan.
